There’s a story in many New York City papers today about accusations that 5 members of the NYPD stuck something up a guy’s ass ala Louima. Google any NY paper for the details. I’d just like to go on record as saying, “Bullshit. It ain’t true.” Do I know? No. You’ll just have to trust me on this one. Complete B.S. It doesn’t ring true.

Yes djk, but I doubt it’s a routine occurrence. I agree with Peter on this one.
I have my own issues w/ the way NYPD operates, but I don’t think the third-world style torture administered to Louima was standard operating procedure. But because they did do it once, now they’ve given vengeful arrestees a new story to tell their attorneys, the media, etc.. I wish more officers who “turn to the dark side” would think about what they are doing to their departments and fellow officers before they engage in unethical actions.
I highly doubt that five officers would do this at 12:30 in the afternoon in front of the token booth of a busy subway station. It makes no sense what so ever. In comparison, Louima’s incident happened in the bathroom of a police precinct.
just the fact that they jumped on the guy for smoking weed says enough about nypd with all the other crime they have. go jump on the people on wall st.
But the Wall Street guys don’t run.
My point was just that….it can’t actually be “bullshit” since it’s already happened.
