Moskos is a great story. The Pirates passed on Matt Weiters to draft him, to great gnashing of teeth and rending of garments in Pittsburghe a bad player, as it was thought Moskos was taken solely because he'd be cheaper to sign. He struggled in the minors while Weiters made the Orioles's roster relatively quickly. Now that some time has passed, Weiters doesn't appear to be a bad player, but nothing special. Moskos, on the other hand, has taken a while to figure things out, but appears to have great potential as a left-handed specialist out of the bullpen, with some wondering now if his ceiling might be even higher.
He appears to have stood strong, knowing a lot of people were using him as the face of a failed franchise. A lot of Pirates fans are pulling for him.
Epirotes everywhere are pulling for him, too!
