One of the few bad happenings in the War on Drugs that could not be covered up. Tip of the iceberg. It is actually worse when police plant drugs on a younger person because they have many more years of life destroyed and get raped in prison. The only reason the planting didn't work in this particular case is that Kathryn Johnston was so old, so nobody believed it for once.
