    PCM,

One of the concerns that I've heard expressed by the the head of the Toronto police union was that cameras could eventually be used primarily as a tool by management to spy on their subordinates. For instance they could be used see if an officer is taking breaks that are too long, monitor "productivity", and so and so.

If cameras become accepted to monitor police officers could they used to monitor workers in other industries leading to decreased privacy in the workplace? Police officers today Walmart workers tomorrow.
