  1. so I guess the question at this point is whether he knew they were popo. Yes, I read about the "marked body armor part." In the words of Shania Twain, that don't impress me much.

They will probably make sure the shooter dies so that he can't say his side of the story.

    C'est le morte.

  2. Hey Pete,
As you know, I have made hundreds of bike stops in my career, both in uniform and while working in plainclothes (not clearly marked at all). I have recovered numerous amounts of guns and drugs. But, even while working plainclothes, not clearly marked, every person without a doubt knew I was a police officer when I was stopping them. People on the street know the difference when they are being stopped by a cop or getting jacked by a local thug.

  3. Certainly if the officer were white, as I think this officer is, there would be no confusion.(Though I might be wrong — and it makes me think of Michael Cowdery Jr., rest in peace.)

[I wonder when the last time a white mugged a black in the Eastern District? I would guess 1963. But I really do wonder.]

When I worked in the Eastern, the only white people (excluding Orangeville) were 3 junkies and 6 old ladies. And hell, the old ladies are probably dead by now.

The only whites "visiting" were police, utility workers, social workers, a few nurses walking nervously to "Hotkins" from their parked cars, and people copping heroin.'

C.T.: I wish you'd stop commenting. You probably think you add to this blog. Hell, maybe you do. But nevertheless, personally, I wish you'd stop commenting. (Who is "they" and how do "they" murder people? But please do not comment to answer.)
