“So I killed someone,” Keith Phoenix, 28, told New York police detectives who found him hiding in the bathroom of a Yonkers apartment, the police said. “That makes me a bad guy?”
Er, uh… yeah. It does.
The story is in the Times.

Sounds like he confessed.
“Asked whether Mr. Phoenix had expressed any remorse, he said, ‘None whatsoever’”
Don’t expect any. I’m not a psychologist, but I think ole’ Keith would probably score pretty high on the “psychopathy checklist.” Remorse in a court of law is overrated anyway, and just gives psychopathic offenders incentive to use their acting skills, which could further torment the victim’s family/friends.
