Well, related to drug raids gone bad, we now have this. A sheriff’s deputy was actually indicted:
“Without her false statements, there was no probable cause to search the premises for drugs or to make the arrest,” acting U.S. Attorney John Horn said in a statement. “And in this case, the consequences of the unlawful search were tragic.”

Only one observation for now – Nikki Autry is reported a) to be 29 and b) to have worked for HCSO since 2004. Taking that at face value (for now), do the math and consider what kind of agency this still very young woman spent her entire adult life in. Consider the kind of leaders she seems to have been around and the kind of standards she saw enforced (or not).
