We just went down there and had a bnb in Bywater. If you need breakfast, elizabeth's on chartres and gallier is awesome, we ate there 4 times, I think.
Bacchanal on chartres and poland is good too, though the wife liked that one more than me.
And if you like alligators, pearl swamp tours was a good time.
